The Constitutional Insurgent

In one of the most disturbing, disgusting and lewd indoctrination attempts I have recently witnessed, this video below shows just how bad things really have gotten. Off of MTV's "Rock the Vote", this video tells your children not to sleep with anyone who does not support Obama's health care plan. One man who happens to be holding a "no death panels" sign is targeted as lying, so they encourage others to "lie right back." You will have to watch the video in it's entirety to see just how disgusting it truly is.

It may be Christmas but the elites are working as hard as they ever are to enslave us. Gordon Brown is planning on calling for a global governance structure to rule over all environment issues in a speech tomorrow. He feels as if the UN's current method of negotiation needs reform, so that a simple majority can come to agreements rather than the full 192 countries needed today. “I believe that in 2010 we will need to look at reforming our international institutions to meet the common challenges we face as a global community.”

Update on the health care bill and the Copenhagen negotiations.

With the emergence of Franklin Roosevelt's new deal in 1933, we saw one of the most dramatic increases in the size of government in American history. America was going through some difficult times, quite similar to what we are witnessing today. The only way it seemed that these economic difficulties could be solved was through a government takeover. At the time the New Deal created new jobs and jump-started the economy. These benefits did not last forever. All one has to do is look at Social Security and Fannie Mae to see evident proof of this. The Federal Reserve Act was also rushed through in reaction of the faux “Panic of 1907”. This Act created the Federal Reserve, and was passed only two days before Christmas. Congressman Alan Grayson recently stated that, “The Federal Reserve is more secretive than the CIA.” The Federal Reserve has completely hijacked the United States monetary system in complete secrecy, working behind closed doors without audit for 99 years.

There is an excellent quote by Ayn Rand, "Government "help" to business is just as disastrous as government persecution... the only way a government can be of service to national prosperity is by keeping its hands off." This quote sums up what I am trying to address all too eloquently. A government takeover will only temporarily cure a problem. Eventually all it will cause is destruction and a loss of independence.

America is approaching another New Deal in only four days. Health care legislation is considered such an emergency that it must be passed now, on Christmas Eve. This closely resembles the passage of the Federal Reserve Act. Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) recently caved in and decided to support the Senate health care bill, ensuring the full 60 votes that Harry Reid will need for passage. In return of his pledge to vote yes on the bill, Nelson's home state of Nebraska is receiving full federal funding for Medicaid.

America, are we going to allow our temporary comfort to remain more important than our long term comfort? Are we going to sit back and relax this holiday season while we witness the beginnings of another failed government takeover? I urge you to rise up. Sacrifice a bit of your day this Christmas Eve to show our government that we do not want this bill.

Senator Ben Nelson claims that negotiations had been made to remove any text from the Senate healthcare bill that would fund elective abortions. Nelson stated that he now would support this bill. There's one thing wrong here-the abortion text still remains in Harry Reid's "manager's amendment". This will levy a new "abortion premium" fee on Americans. Upon further investigation, one might come to the conclusion that Senator Nelson was "payed off." Senator Nelson is receiving full federal funding for his state to expand Medicaid coverage. Senator Nelson's vote secures the Senate the full 60 votes that they need to pass the bill. A final vote is scheduled for Christmas eve.

Mainstream media is undermining the agreements reached in Copenhagen. Climate financing, a global tax payed directly to the World Bank, will be controlled by a "governance structure." A "high level panel" will be appointed to decide where this money will come from. Copenhagen delegates have already decided to meet next year in order to strengthen the agreement that was reached this year.

“Institutional framework” paves the way for unelected international bureaucracy

Amid all the mainstream media reports of the talks in Copenhagen “limping” to a close and having failed, Lord Christopher Monckton, reporting from the summit, has stated that the only goal of the conference was to implement the framework and the funding for a world government – which he asserts has been achieved.

“That is the one thing that they are definitely going to succeed in doing here and they will announce that as a victory in itself, and they will be right because that is the one and only single aim of this entire global warming conference, to establish the mechanism, the structure, and above all the funding for a world government.” the British politician, business consultant, policy adviser exclusively told the Alex Jones show yesterday.

“They are going to take from the western countries the very large financial resources required to do that.” Monckton said, adding “They will disguise it by saying they are setting up a $100 billion fund for adaptation to climate change in third world countries, but actually, this money will almost all be gobbled up by the international bureaucracy.”

“The first thing they will do, and the one thing I think they were always going to succeed in doing at this conference is to agree to establish what will be delicately called ‘the institutional framework’. Now that is a code word for world government.”

Lord Monckton explained that although the word “government” has been dropped from the treaty, all the interlocking bureaucratic features of a world government are still present in the final draft of the treaty, which also legislates for a global tax on financial transactions that will be paid directly to the World Bank.

“These are the new entities that they are going to bring into being in order to create this world government” he said.

“Ban Ki Moon, the head of the UN is clearly expecting that part of the treaty to go through because he is saying that we are going to have to set up a structure of global governance just to handle the enormous amounts of money which we are going to be getting from the countries of the West, once this agreement goes through at Copenhagen.” Monckton added Ban Ki-moon made those comments on Wednesday in an interview with the LA Times in which he also said that a formal treaty would be signed by mid-2010.

“They are expecting to get this through,” the British peer stated, “so all the reports you see about how the parties are fatally deadlocked, China has walked out, the African countries have walked out… all of these things are the traditional window dressing to try to disarm those of us who don’t want any of this to succeed because we’d rather like to see our national sovereignty preserved.”

Monckton explained that there is still a great deal of hope in fighting the establishment of an unelected world government:

“What has been going on over the last ten days is they have been trying to see whether they can get a binding treaty, and more or less at the outset they realised they would have to abandon that because it would never pass the U.S. Senate.”

“If they call it a treaty it requires two thirds of the U.S. Senate to vote for it and there are just too many blue dog Democrats, as well as sensible Republicans, who will not vote for the destruction of the U.S. Constitution, the establishment of a world government, for the bankrupting of the United States, the destruction of working people’s jobs right across the industries of the U.S.”

“If they declare that they are going to do this and they do not have the constitutional authority to do this, and that will certainly be the case in the United States, then it is possible to fight it.” Monckton added.

Following president Obama’s announcement that he would attempt to circumvent the legislative process and bypass Congress to implement a cap and trade system on carbon emissions, Lord Monckton noted “If he tries to do that he will be impeached.”

“He had better tread very carefully indeed or he will be out of office and in prison before he knows it. There are constitutional constraints which, thank god, may yet save not only America but the rest of the world from what you rightly describe as a tyranny.”

“World government is coming because the leaders of the West have given up. They no longer care about democracy, they know longer care about the truth about the climate.” Monckton said. “They are willing to go along with this world government because they see roles for themselves in that world government in exactly the same way as the leaders of the EU did.”

“They can get more power as unelected leaders than they can at home.” Monckton added.

The British peer also spoke of the physical attacks on skeptics at Copenhagen by UN security, police and other demonstrators, adding that he himself was attacked and knocked out by a Danish police officer acting under UN authority after not allowing him access to a forum at the summit.

After a meeting with Harry Reid and White House officials last night, Senator Ben Nelson said that "real progress" had been made towards confirming his vote. If Nelson votes yes on the bill, Senate democrats would have the 60 votes they need to finally pass Obama's health care bill. Nelson secured full federal funding for his state to expand Medicaid coverage, forcing other states to pay a portion of this additional cost. Under the bill, every American would be required to purchase healthcare insurance. Refusing to purchase insurance will get you fined, and possibly jailed for violation of the federal IRS code. Harry Reid plans to hold the final vote on the bill sometime on Christmas Eve.

Obama has stated that China, the United States, and several other countries have reached an "unprecedented breakthrough" in Copenhagen today. The agreement requires each country to state how they will cut "global warming pollution" by certain amounts. Specific details are yet to be announced about the agreement. President Obama left before the final vote on the agreement, stating that, "We feel confident we are moving in the direction of a final accord."

This morning President Obama spoke at the CO15 negotiations. He pledged that America will start cutting carbon emissions, leading to a 17% cut in 2020, and eventually more than 80% in 2050. The final Copenhagen draft agreement was completed early Friday morning, promising some type of negotiations on the draft later today or early tomorrow morning. This draft contains specific provisions mandating a global tax on financial transactions that will be paid directly to the World Bank and IMF. This specific provision is earmarked as "climate financing".

Lord Monckton said that the new world government outlined in the treaty would be handed powers to, “Tax the American economy to the extent of 2 percent GDP, to impose a further tax of 2 percent on every financial transaction….and to close down effectively the economies of the west, transfer your jobs to third world countries."

Here is the full draft text of the final Copenhagen Climate Treaty:

In pursuit of the ultimate objective of the Convention as stated in its Article 2,

Recalling the provisions of the Convention,

Being guided by Article 3 of the Convention,

Affirming our firm resolve to adopt one or more legal instruments under the Convention pursuant to decisions taken at COP13 and this decision as soon as possible and no later than COP16/CMP6.

Have agreed on this Copenhagen [X] which is operational immediately

1. The Parties underline that climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. The Parties emphasise their strong political will to combat climate change in accordance with the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities. Recognizing the scientific view that the increase in global temperature ought not to exceed 2 degrees and on the basis of equity and in the context of sustainable development, the Parties commit to a vigorous response through immediate and enhanced national action on mitigation based on strengthened international cooperation.

Ambitious action to mitigate climate change is needed with developed countries taking the lead. The Parties recognize the critical impact of climate change on countries particularly vulnerable to its adverse effects and stress the need to establish a comprehensive adaptation
programme including international support.

2. Deep cuts in global emissions are required. The Parties should cooperate in achieving the peaking of global and national emissions as soon as possible, recognizing that the time frame for peaking will be longer in developing country Parties and bearing in mind that social and economic development and poverty eradication are the first and overriding priorities of developing country Parties and that low-emission development is indispensible to sustainable development.

3. Adaptation to the adverse effects of climate change is a challenge faced by all Parties, and enhanced action and international cooperation on adaptation is urgently required to enable and support the implementation of adaptation actions aimed at reducing vulnerability and building resilience in developing country Parties, especially in those that are particularly vulnerable, especially least developed countries, small island developing States and countries in Africa affected by drought, desertification and floods.

The Parties agree that developed country Parties shall provide adequate, predictable and sustainable financial resources, technology and capacity-building to support the implementation of adaptation action in developing country Parties. The Parties further endorse -/CP.15 on adaptation.

4. Annex I Parties to the Convention commit to implement, individually or jointly, the quantified economy-wide emission targets for 2020 as listed yielding in aggregate reductions of greenhouse gas emissions of X per cent in 2020 compared to 1990 and Y per cent in 2020 compared to 2005 ensuring that accounting of such targets and finance is rigorous, robust and transparent.

5. Non-Annex I Parties to the Convention resolve to implement mitigation actions, based on their specific national circumstances and in the context of sustainable development. Mitigation actions taken and envisaged by Non-Annex I Parties shall be reflected through their national communications in accordance with Article 12.1 (b) of the Convention.

The frequency of submissions of the national communications of Non-Annex I Parties shall be every two years. Mitigation actions taken by Non-Annex I Parties will be subject to their domestic auditing, supervision and assessment, the result of which will be reported through their national communications.

Clarification may, upon request, be provided by the Party concerned at its discretion to respond to any question regarding information contained in the national communications.

Nationally appropriate mitigation actions supported and enabled by countries in terms of technology, financing and capacity building, will be registered in a registry, including both action taken and relevant technology, financing and capacity building support.

These supported nationally appropriate mitigation actions shall be subject to international measurement, reporting and verification in accordance with guidelines elaborated by the COP. The Parties take note of the information on enhanced mitigation action actions by Non-Annex I Parties as listed.

6. Developing countries Parties should, in accordance with the provisions contained in decision /CP.15, contribute to mitigation actions in the forest sector by undertaking the following activities:
reducing emissions from deforestation, reducing emissions from forest degradation, conservation of forest carbon stocks, sustainable management of forest, and enhancement of forest carbon stocks.

7. The Parties decide to pursue various approaches, including opportunities to use markets, to enhance the cost-effectiveness of, and to promote, mitigation actions, in accordance with decision -/CP.15.

8. Scaled up, new and additional, predictable and adequate funding shall be provided to developing country Parties, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Convention, to enable and support enhanced action on mitigation, including REDD-plus, adaptation, technology development and transfer and capacity-building, for enhanced implementation of the Convention. Parties take note of the individual pledges by developed country

Parties to provide new and additional resources amounting to 30 billion dollars for the period
2010-2012
as listed and with funding for adaptation prioritized for the most vulnerable developing countries, such as the least developed countries, small island developing states and countries in Africa affected by drought, desertification and floods.

In the context of meaningful mitigation actions and transparency on implementation, the Parties support a goal of mobilizing jointly 100 billion dollars a year by 2020 to address the climate change needs of developing countries. This funding will come from a wide variety of sources, public and private, bilateral and multilateral, including alternative sources of finance.

9. A High Level Panel will be established under the guidance of and accountable to the Conference of then Parties to assess the contribution of the potential sources of revenue, including alternative sources of finance, towards meeting this goal.

10. The Parties decide that the Copenhagen Climate Fund shall be established as an operating entity of the financial mechanism of the Convention to support projects, programmes, policies and other activities in developing countries related to mitigation including REDD-plus, adaptation, capacity-building, technology development and transfer as set forth in decision -/CP.15.

11. In order to enhance action on development and transfer of technology the Parties decide to establish a Technology Mechanism as set forth in decision -/CP.15 to accelerate technology development and transfer in support of action on adaptation and mitigation that will be guided by a country-driven approach and be based on national circumstances and priorities.

12. The Parties call for a review of this decision and its implementation in 2016 including in light of the Conventions ultimate objective.

13. Capturing the progress achieved in the work by the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-Term Cooperative Action and Ad Hoc Working Group on the Kyoto Protocol under the Convention the Parties by continuing negotiations pursuant to decisions taken at COP13 and this decision, with a view to adopting one or more legal instruments under the Convention as soon as possible and no later than COP16.

Deciding to extend the mandate of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long Term Cooperative Action under the Convention and continue the work of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under Kyoto Protocol to negotiate one or more legal instruments under the Convention.
